Smart device monitoring

Smart plugs and energy meters, monitored like the rest of your estate

Link an eWeLink account once and monytr.ai discovers its plugs, switches and sensors, reads them every five minutes and keeps their history. Watch what is on or off, how much power a device draws, and get an alert when a device goes offline or a reading passes a limit you set. Nothing is installed on any machine, and Smart Devices is part of Company mode.

What it does

Readings, history and alerts for every plug

Reachable, running, how much power, and since when.

🔗

Link without sharing a password

You approve access on eWeLink's own sign-in page, so the account password is never entered into or stored by monytr.ai. Every home on the account is read, including a second home or an office.

⏱️

Readings every five minutes

State and readings refresh every five minutes, and the device list updates itself when a new device appears, so a rename in the app reaches the portal.

⚡

Energy metering

Metering relays report voltage, current, power and the cumulative kWh total, so you see what a device draws and how much energy it has used.

🕘

On and off history

A daily timeline per switch shows when it was on, so a routine is visible at a glance, and any past day can be opened on its own.

🔔

Alerts you choose

A device that goes offline, a switch or plug turned on or off, a reading past the temperature, power or battery limit you set, and a linked account whose sign-in fails. Alerts stay off until you tick a channel for them.

📊

Reports and dashboard

A Smart Devices report covers energy used, current draw, availability and threshold breaches over 24 hours, 7 or 30 days, with a PDF. The section also appears on the dashboard and in Needs attention.

Reachable is not running

Know whether a device is online and whether it is on

Online and offline only say whether the portal can see a device, so an idle plug can read online and look busy. monytr.ai separates reachable from running, with Switched on and Switched off beside Online and Offline.

  • Each account carries its own vendor developer credentials, so tenants stay independent

ask us first

Anything else? Ask on the demo.

How do I link an account?
You approve access on eWeLink's own sign-in page, so the account password is never entered into or stored by monytr.ai. Each linked account carries its own eWeLink developer credentials.
Do I install anything?
No. Smart Devices reads the vendor cloud, so nothing is installed on any machine or device.
How often are readings taken?
Every five minutes. The device list refreshes whenever a new device appears and otherwise hourly, and a Sync button forces it.
Which vendors are supported?
eWeLink (Sonoff) is the first supported vendor: plugs, switches, energy-metering relays and sensors.
Can I be alerted when a device goes offline?
Yes. Alerts cover a device going offline, a switch or plug turned on or off, a reading past a temperature, power or battery limit you set, and a failed account sign-in. They stay off until you tick a channel for them on the notification routing tab.
