Server monitoring

Server monitoring that warns you before the hardware fails

Lightweight agents report CPU, memory, disks, services and virtual machines from Windows, Linux, cPanel, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi and Active Directory domain controllers every five minutes. Disk and RAID problems are graded and alerted before they become outages, and every client's servers sit in one dashboard.

What it does

From the heartbeat to the hard drive

What the agents read, and what monytr.ai does with it.

📈

Live server metrics

CPU, memory, disk, uptime and virtual machines pushed by the agent every five minutes. A server is live with a heartbeat in the last seven minutes, and Live Metrics shows live, stale and offline at a glance.

💽

Disk and RAID health

A SMART score grades every physical disk Healthy, Warning or Failed. Hardware RAID arrays are read through the controller's own tool: Dell PERC, HPE Smart Array, Broadcom and LSI MegaRAID, and Microchip Adaptec. A degraded or rebuilding array raises an alert.

🕳️

Lost disks and failed volumes

A dynamic disk that has gone Missing, and the volume that failed with it, are caught even though Windows stops listing the disk. Both are tagged on the server page, in the PDF and on the dashboard.

⚙️

Services that matter

Hyper-V, IIS, SQL Server, nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, cPanel, backup and security services are watched live. A stopped service is noticed in about eight minutes, and an alert fires only after several readings, so a restart during a deployment stays quiet.

🔑

Domain controllers

A Domain Controller server type checks replication, SYSVOL and NETLOGON, the clock, DNS records, LDAP and the Global Catalog, FSMO roles, directory database space and the LDAPS certificate, with ten Active Directory alert types and four reports.

🧭

What changed, and what is scheduled

Each server page shows the recent changes between its current state and the one before. Windows servers list their scheduled tasks, power off and restart tasks first, so an unexpected reboot has an explanation.

Hardware, graded

A failing disk is a finding, not a surprise

A disk the operating system still calls OK can already be predicting failure. monytr.ai grades it from its SMART data, raises its own alert, and keeps it on the dashboard under Needs attention for as long as the problem lasts. A RAID controller that reports no per-disk detail gets a note naming the right tool to install, with its download link.

  • Critical Windows event IDs per platform (Hyper-V, SQL Server, IIS, OS health) on each host and in its PDF
  • Server Information as PDF, CSV and scheduled reports, with disk and RAID sections that match the page
  • Virtual machine inventory per host, and a monthly audit of VMs added, removed or resized
  • A Control Room wall view for the operations-room TV

What do I install on a server?
One lightweight agent, installed with a single generated command. It registers as a service, reports outbound over HTTPS with a per-server API key, and updates itself through a signed channel. It opens no inbound ports.
Which operating systems and platforms are covered?
Windows Server, including Hyper-V hosts, web and data servers and domain controllers, Linux servers on Ubuntu and AlmaLinux, cPanel and WHM servers, and VMware ESXi hosts.
Can it warn me about a failing disk behind a RAID controller?
Yes, where the controller's own tool is installed on the server: perccli for Dell PERC, ssacli for HPE Smart Array, storcli for Broadcom and LSI MegaRAID, and arcconf for Microchip Adaptec, which includes Lenovo ThinkSystem 5350 and 9350 cards. When no tool is found, the server page names the right one and links to its download.
How quickly is a problem noticed?
Heartbeats arrive every five minutes and a stopped service is noticed in about eight. CPU and memory alerts count several consecutive readings, so a brief spike does not page anyone. Disk and RAID faults come from the full report the agent sends several times a day, and stay on the dashboard for as long as they last.
Does it work for an MSP with many clients?
Yes. Every client's servers are isolated under their own client, with per-client dashboards, reports and branding, and one login for your whole team.
